On 10-12/10/2018, Dr. Farsat A. Yahya, Assistant Professor Dr. Ezaddin H. Jameel, Dr. Ayad Kamel from Islamic Studies Department, and Dr. Shawket A. Mohammed from History Department participated in the third International Conference of Tafila Technical University in Jordan.
The participants thanked Tafila Technical University on behalf of the University of Zakho for giving them this opportunity to be part of this conference. The group participated with scientific researches. In addition to this, Dr.Farsat Abdullah was interviewed by two Jordanian Channels and by a radio station to talk about the importance of the conference, its objectives, and risks of terrorism and how to combat it. He also talked about how the Kurdistan region overcame terrorism and the souls sacrificed in the fight against ISIS. Furthermore, Dr. Ayad Kamel was interviewed by Tafila Radio Station to talk about terrorism and its risks.
At the end of the conference, certificates were distributed to the participants.
